Monika Sattler, also known as RAD Monika, is a cyclist, presenter, speaker and author. As the first female in history, she set a world record by cycling one of the toughest cycling challenges in the world, the 3,300 km Vuelta a España. Because she rode every stage on the same day as the professional race – just hours beforehand – she was under daily pressure to reach the finish line before the pros.

The project called ‘The Vuelta Ride’ seemed impossible. Not only because of riding the sheer number of kilometres every day on a time-limit. But also because of the organisation and logistics – the disbelief of others that she would be able to make it was especially apparent in trying to get funding.

In this talk, she explains how she not only succeeded with this massive cycling challenge but that the purpose of the Vuelta Ride was to inspire others to reach their own goals. As the ride went on, Monika’s achievement gained her extensive and worldwide media coverage.

Monika’s recent book “Unleashing the Devil in You“, tells her raw and authentic story about what it takes to pursue a seemingly impossible dream. Read more about her talks and workshops about achieving seemingly impossible goals successfully at her website.
