Intrepid Photographers Bike Tour
Slow down the pace on this large-format photographic bike tour. Led by Stills Centre for photography you will be guided along a scenic cycle route, taking time to stop and make exposures with our Intrepid 5 x 4” cameras. Stills’ expert tutor will talk you through setting up the cameras and making exposures before heading back to Stills’ darkrooms to process your photographs.
Approximate times:
10.30 – 12.30 Cycle tour and photo shoot. Easy pace and suitable for all levels of cyclists.
12.30 – 13.30 Lunch break. Bring a packed lunch (if it’s sunny we will find a nice spot to sit, otherwise we will head indoors).
13.30 – 16:00 Return to Stills for processing and printing. Each participant will make prints to take home on the day.
No experience necessary. All equipment and materials will be provided.
There will be a maximum of six people on the tour. We will meet with our bikes in the centre of Edinburgh. Exact meeting place will be confirmed on booking. If you would like to take part but have mobility issues please get in touch and we will arrange to borrow an adapted bike to suit your needs.
