Event Details

Detour (Movement By Bike)

Join Detour for a relaxed group bike ride around Edinburgh with a stop off for guided outdoor movement practice.

Meet us at Leith Links (near the Cricket Club) at 2pm to join the bike ride (around 12 miles). We will ride along to Portobello Promenade, Brunstane Burn, and the Innocent Railway Tunnel.

If you don’t have a bike or don’t fancy the ride, feel free to join us at Holyrood Park (near the Education Centre) at approx 3:30pm. We will have time for a coffee/snack before a 45-minute guided outdoor movement practice.

Our movement practice involves guided functional movement, sensory exploration and creative play. The sessions are open to adults of all experiences, designed to be inclusive and fun. Our ride will then loop back to Leith Links.

Our aim is to bring people together to be active and creative while connecting to outdoor spaces. The session will be led by Jorja Follina (Dance Artist and Fitness Instructor) and Chris Andrews (Bike Mechanic and Movement Artist).

Sign up via Eventbrite. Our events are free to attend and open to all.
